Hometrica Consulting organizes the series of
International Conferences on 3D Body Scanning Technologies.

This serie of conferences and workshops aim to fill an existing gap and fulfill the demand for international events focused on the specific fields of 3D human body scanning and 3D human body measurement.
In the last two decades, 3D scanning technologies developed in other industrial sectors were successfully applied to the measurement and scanning of the human body. Methods and techniques are continuously ameliorated, more efficient and performing scanning systems are produced every year and new software tools are developed unceasingly.
The international conferences and workshops on 3D body scanning technologies serve as platforms for the information on the latest developments and interesting applications in various sectors, as well as, for building relationships and exchanging ideas between manufacturers, users, developers and researchers from around the world.

PAST EVENTS

1st Asian Workshop on 3D Body Scanning Technologies
Tokyo, Japan, 17-18 April 2012.

The first Asian event was successfully closed on the evening of 18th April 2012.
83 participants from 11 different countries attended the workshop and/or visited the parallel technical exhibition.
The program included 7 technical sessions, with about 30 presentations and a parallel exhibition with 7 manufactures, presenting and demonstrating their body scanning systems.
The proceedings of the workshop are available as hard copy (172 pages) or CD-rom and can be ordered by e-mail for the cost of 80 CHF.

2nd International Conference on 3D Body Scanning Technologies
Lugano, Switzerland, 25-26 October 2011.

The second event was successfully closed on the evening of 26th October 2011.
205 participants from 28 different countries attended the two days conference.
The program included 12 technical sessions, with about 60 presentations and a parallel exhibition with 15 manufactures, presenting and demonstrating their body scanning systems.
